Dr. L. REVATHY, M.A., B.Ed., M.Phil., Ph.D.,

Established in 1966 by the Philanthropist M.V. Muthiah Pillai, M.V. Muthiah Government Arts College for Women is an esteemed institution in Dindigul which is striving for the upliftment of the poor and the needy girl students in and around Dindigul. This College is the most preferred Institute in this District. This college which celebrated its Golden Jubilee, offers 12 Under Graduate, 9 Post Graduate and 6 M. Phil courses. Apart from academy, students are given training in computers through the Computer Literacy Programme and Soft Skills by the Soft Skills Development Centre. Moreover, the Placement Cell offers special programmes to equip the students to face the competitive world. Recently, this premier Educational Institution has established a Botanical Garden which is the first of its kind in Government Arts and Science Colleges for Women. This Institution has been producing students of high caliber. Through NSS, RRC, YRC etc. the students do social services and they become good citizens.
